My paintings are inspired by the mystical landscape of my native country, Armenia. I paint from memories of steep mountainsides, beautiful valleys, and mysterious caves. The soul of my country and its people are woven into my art. The juxtaposition of my inner world and my natural setting gives me an ability to see the beauty of everything in a different light, the light of the soul. Now in my new country of America my soul’s call tells me to continue my creation of the beauty of life in different, more vivid colors.
